2025 PG National Showcase
Patrick Diaz is a 2026 3B/1B with a 6-2 205 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends St. Raymond HS For Boys. Big and strong build. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a moderate leg kick load, not consistent getting his foot down on time, turns hard and creates bat speed with a pull side approach, pretty short to the ball, ball comes off the barrel hard when he's timed up. 7.26 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, comes to the ball aggressively and plays with energy, gets long in his footwork at times, throws from a higher slot with some carry on his throws, made accurate throws, tools/actions are fine for third base. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
