Emmett Robinson is a 2027 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Middletown, DE who attends Delaware Military Academy. Lean, athletic build with room to continue adding strength onto the frame. 7.07 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, narrow base with a slightly open front side in the stance, medium leg lift trigger, showed off quick hands with a short barrel path to contact. Works to all fields nicely and performed at a high level at the plate in game-action. Primary left-handed pitcher, side steps into a belt high leg lift, compact arm action in the back to a three-quarters release point. Athletic down the slope with projectable traits. Two pitch mix, fastball got up to 79 mph (1703 RPM) and sat in the 76-79 range. Mixed in a curveball with 1-7 shape, up to 60 mph (1313 RPM). Secondary first baseman, bounces off the bag with confidence and fields out front with a one hand funnel, quick turns and has solid arm strength across, recording throws up to 78 mph. Also worked out in the outfield and showed a lot of bounce with obvious athleticism working through the ball and similar arm strength, recorded throws up to 82 mph from the outfield. Great student.
