2024 Mid-South High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Stephen Bobo is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Shelbyville, TN who attends Shelbyville Central. Bobo presented a very athletic frame with strength throughout. He showed some quickness in the sixty yard dash as he ran a 6.70. Primary Outfielder was very aggressive through the ball fielding it cleanly off to the side into a one handed gather into the exchange. The arm presented plenty of cary and accuracy to the bases as he came from a straight over the top angle. On the bump Bobo worked a smaller drop step into a belt height leg lift. The operation was very athletic and repeatable as he created some slight deception within. The fastball sat in the 85-88mph range with late sink to it. He mixed in a tighter 11-5 breaking ball with late depth as well as a CH with fade that he would go to late in counts. Left handed hitter starting with an open slightly up right base, the hands rotate into slot at trigger as he presents advanced quickness in the hands with easy control of the barrel through the zone. Stephen was named to the 2024 Mid South All State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
