Jackson Smith is a 2026 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Festus, MO who attends Festus Sr.. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and long limbs, lean build with room to fill throughout. ran an 8.23 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, efficient actions away from bag and overall release, deeper funnel into body, throws show nice carry to the intended base and hands have softness to them, accurate throws. Also pitched, clean and smooth operation, medium length arm stroke working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 73 mph, worked around the zone, easy release; mixed both a curveball with horizontal shape and a changeup for strikes. Left-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and upright stance, utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Shows nice offensive tools to follow moving forward, life in the barrel with some jump at contact, occasionally mistimed but shows solid contact when extended out front and balanced, present bat speed through the zone. Named to National Indoor Top Prospect List.
