Steven Ramirez is a 2024 SS/2B/OF with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Salesian. Young athletic build with square shoulders and lots of room to get stronger. 7.46 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder, has some lower half quickness and athleticism to the ball, fields the ball cleanly out front with soft hands, has a compact arm action with developing carry and accuracy on his throws. Showed the same type of athleticism in the outfield with good aggressiveness through the ball. Switch-hitter at the plate, has better present bat speed and strength at contact from the left side, hits from a spread stance from both sides with limited lower half shift into contact and a simple foot turn load, swing has good extension through the ball and showed the ability to create some carry left handed. Good student.
