Cooper Smith is a 2023 SS/3B, MIF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Prospect, KY who attends St. Xavier HS. Recorded a 6.86 second 60-yard dash time. Longer body with room to fill out and add strength. Primary shortstop with a short arm action and confident actions. Good body control and has a quick release. Secondary outfielder with a full arm action and throws recorded up to 89 mph into the infield. Good accuracy and carry out of the hand. Right-handed hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and quickness to his hands. Uphill swing with an upper half dominant stroke. Gets extended out in front and creates jump off the barrel when squared. Clean mechanics and reliant on a timing heavy swing. Tremendous student.
