2023 High School All State Select Championship (2026-2027 Grads)
Aaron Pennington is a 2026 OF/SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Morehead, KY, who attends Rowan County Senior. A compact frame with a medium and athletic build. Showed some strength. Ran a 6.94 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who had good & controlled actions. He charged direct to it with a full arm swing. Throws were at 85 mph from a higher release, showing good arm strength and some carry to it. One-hand gather as he works into it. As an infielder, he showed similar actions with a higher release on his throws at 83 mph across the diamond. Athleticism to the footwork. A right-handed hitter who was athletic in the box with a balanced base. He had a small toe lift with a stride for timing to transfer the weight. Sprayed line drives all over with a big hip rotation, rotating the upper half pretty hard. Inward toe-tap as he works into contact. Produced an 80 mph exit velo during PG Tech testing. Added a double in-game as well. Great student. Committed to Morehead State. Named to 2023 HS All-State Championships TP List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
