Ryan Napolitano is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Manhasset, NY who attends Manhasset Secondary. Recorded a 7.33 second sixty yard dash time. Bigger frame with present strength. Primary third baseman with soft glove work and good feet with a clean transfer. Gets through the ball well with accurate throws from a lower slot and feel to change the arm angle. Also threw a bullpen. The right-handed pitcher works from a hybrid windup from the third base side of the rubber into a letter-high leg lift and uses drop-and-drive back leg mechanics into a long, in-line stride down the mound. The hands separate into a longer takeaway before accelerating through from a three- quarter angle with good arm speed and whip. The fastball ran up to 79 and paired it with a curveball in the upper-60s with 11-5 shape and tighter vertical depth. Mixed in a change-up in the low-70s with some vertical depth and arm-side fade. Right-handed hitter starts from a spread stance with in-line feet and a high handset with a high back elbow, utilizes a toe-tap trigger. Rotational upper half and creates separation with an uphill bat plane. Strength in the frame and worked the pull-side for best contact with a more line drive approach. Intriguing player with upside. Great student.
