Jacob Olivier is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Perris, CA who attends Notre Dame High School. Features a longer, lean, projectable, athletic frame with room to add. Ran a 7.13 sixty yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with a three-pitch mix that includes fastball, slider and changeup. Side step start with a medium leg lift into a big turn, showing the numbers and works downhill with a balanced finish over the front side. Athletic operation that stays balanced throughout and he repeats it. Breaking ball has a slurvey look with 1-7 shape and sweep. Kills the spin with the changeup that shows fade. Secondary outfielder with proper technique, taking good routes to the ball and charging hard. Fields it out front and works through while working downhill. Arm speed is present and stayed accurate throughout. Medium base a the plate with a low back elbow and no stride approach. Simple, compact, balanced swing, controlling the barrel effectively. Compact to contact with strength in the hands and can use the entire field. Named to the 2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Performer List. Excellent Student.
