Liam Jones is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Alexandria, VA who attends Alexandria City High School. Well built larger frame with solid muscular development and time to continue to grow. Primary position RHP, working from a full windup from the 1B side of the rubber and slightly offset. High leg lift to the letters as he breaks hands at the chest and works into deep slightly offline path into a low-3/4 arm angle. Works down the slope very well and generates excellent torque in the midsection. Arm is quick, creating easy lift with more to come from a velocity standpoint. FB peaked at 87 mph with 2,200+ spin and heavy arm side run and sink, dominating hitters. SL is an out-pitch with frisbee type horizontal break and tight spin 2,250+ in the upper 70s. Also flashed a workable CH in the low-70s with deadening 1,600- spin. Super tough look for RHHs and got bad swings out of LHHs too. Reps on the IF as well, moving pretty well on his feet and showed ability to throw from any slot. Glove is solid and handled slow roller too. RHH working with a tall and upright stance as he strides towards the plate. Good handset at shoulders and displayed good rhythm and feel for barrel. Strong at impact and when on plane created loud contact with good loft. Real projection on the mound an with the stick here. Outstanding student as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
