Kameron Cox is a 2028 SS/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Countryside, IL who attends Montini Catholic. Medium athletic build with some present strength to continue to build on. Right handed hitter, sets up in an open and balanced stance with a short knee raise timer and some hand action to start his swing, has quick hands and stays short to the ball with some separation and lift out front, will over swing at times and get out of his rhythm but showed bat speed and projection. 6.64 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, developing glove positioning, has some arm strength and athleticism but developing fundamentals on the dirt. Excellent student.
