Benjamin Wallace is a 2027 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Archbishop Molloy. Lean and projectable prototype pitchers buidl with lots of room to get stronger. Works exclusively from the stretch with a 3/4's arm slot, simple and repeatable mechanics with an uptempo pace. Fastball was in the mid-80's with nice location in the zone. Change up was his best secondary pitch with some tumble and good velocity separation. Still developing his release and arm speed on a soft curveball. 7.14 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield, showed his best actions and arm strength in the outfield, attacks the ball aggressively and carries his momentum into his throws well, makes accurate throws. Third base tools as an infielder. Right handed hitter, sets up in a balanced slightly open stance with a simple stride into contact, longer swing path with mostly opposite field contact, flashed some strength when on time. Good student.
