Carlos Arroyo is a 2028 C/3B with a 5-6 170 lb. frame from Toa Alta, PR who attends American School. Short and thick build with good strength potential. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a busy hand pump load, has quick hands and some hand strength, stays short to the ball and showed the ability to create some pull side jump off the barrel. 6.98 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in an exaggerated side saddle stance, stays low receiving and in his transition, has some quickness and athleticism in his actions. Also worked out in the infield, works low to and through the ball, long strider, has raw arm strength but still developing his accuracy. Excellent student.
