2026 PG Sunshine Northeast Showcase (National Showcases Qualifier)
Luke Watson is a 2028 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Shillington, PA who attends Conestoga Christian. Medium athletic build with plenty of well proportioned strength. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a leg lift timer and big barrel wrap start, good lower half shift and engagement, creates solid present bat speed, repeats his swing and timing well, showed his power. 6.80 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, has some first step quickness and moves well to the ball, plays a bit tall but fields cleanly, longer arm path to a 3/4's slot and creates some carry across. Also worked out behind the plate, has some potential there with refined fundamentals, arm strength and lower half quickness play well at the position, longer actions at present. Took a turn on the mound, works from a hand drop delivery with a medium length arm action and a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some ride up in the zone and cutting action down. Curveball showed 11/5 shape with some depth, also threw a change up with fading action with minimal spin. Excellent student. Named to the PG Sunshine Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
