Ben Elliott is a 2028 C/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Dunwoody, GA who attends Mount Vernon Presbyterian. Medium young build with the beginnings of some present strength. 7.45 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up high behind the plate, gets on top of his throws well and has some arm strength, still developing consistency in his exchange and release. Also worked out in the outfield, showed active feet and worked through the ball well, made accurate throws from a compact catcher's arm action. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a high hand load and a short stride into contact, simple and repeatable swing approach, got the barrel out front consistently, best contact was line drives to the pull side. Excellent student.
