Chip Rayl is a 2028 RHP/3B/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Duluth, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian. Lean medium build with lots of room to get stronger. Works exclusively from the stretch from the first base side of the rubber, closed front side start, loose arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, simple mechanics that are repeatable but will open early with his front side at times and leave his arm behind. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with more there as he gets stronger. Breaking ball showed both curveball and slider shape at different times but had solid spin and some depth. Killed the spin well on his change up. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Good student.
