2026 PG South Central High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Kaleb Tipton is a 2029 RHP/OF/1B with a 6-4 173 lb. frame from Big Sandy, TX who attends Gilmer. Tall and lean high waisted athletic build, prototypical young pitcher's build. Works from a sidestep wind up, sinks into his back hip well, throws from a high 3/4's arm angle with good downhill plane. Fastball topped out at 86 mph with late life and has a second gear jumping out of hand. Slider up to 77 with sharp 2-plane sweeper bite. Flashed curve as well but slider was the better secondary. Got late swing and miss off fastball. 7.10 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, tends to wait back on the ball, max effort crow hop and release into his throws, showed some arm strength with developing accuracy. Right-handed hitter with balanced upright base. Rotational upper half and very handsy swing. Swing can get long at times but showed good bat speed with strong pull-side approach. Produced an exit velo of 88. Good student. Named to the PG South Central High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.
