Cason Helpert is a 2026 SS/RHP, 2B, 3B, UT with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Robinson, TX who attends Robinson. Primary SS with an athletic build and evident strength in frame. Has quick feet and moves really well to the ball with good fundamentals. Showed clean glove work staying low to the ground with a quick transfer and release. Throws had good strength behind them and were accurate. Arm action was clean and got out quick with a smooth slot change. Was up to 84 from the infield. High profile athlete who ran a 6.75 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a wider base using a high handset. Uses a double toe tap trigger for timing and rhythm and was consistently on the barrel throughout his round going to the MOF mainly. Also hit a ton in game. Smooth swing with a clean follow through that stays level through the zone with good bat speed. Produced an exit velo of 91 and can really impact the ball. Also pitched throwing from a high 3/4 slot with shorter arm action at the top half of things. Works with good tempo and takes an elongated stride to the plate. Fastball was up to 84 and commanded well in the zone. Went to a short slider with late bite but arm slows down at times when going to this. Excellent student. Named to the TP List.
