2026 PG Northwest High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Brody Seigel is a 2027 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Stanwood, WA who attends Stanwood. Features a smaller athletic build. Ran a 7.03 60-yd dash. Primarily a middle infielder defensively, showing quick lateral actions and solid fundamentals with the feet and glove. Gets into good fielding posture with his hands out front and showed clean, sure-handed receptions, including circling around the backhand side well. Flashes of stab/reach to the backhand side but showed quick exchanges and reliable overall defensive actions. Uses a medium arm action with average present strength and accurate throws, fitting best at second base presently (77 mph). At the plate, hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a slight waggle to the hands before a flatter barrek launch. Shows decent present bat speed with some intent and a level path through contact, maintaining good balance throughout the swing. Worked to both gaps with several softer line drives and showed some present impact, though he can chop down through the baseball at times and finished with a one-handed release. On the mound, works exclusively from the stretch with a smaller lift that builds slowly into a longer, loose arm action to a normal 3/4 slot that can work slightly higher. Works on-line with an early push off the rubber and a taller finish. Fastball worked around 79 with normal four-seam shape and some ability to locate to the glove side, though he can bury it low when the torso and arm open a bit early. Slider worked in the mid-60s with slurvy shape, while the curveball showed bigger 11-5 shape and developing feel. Repeats the delivery reasonably well and showed the ability to land the breaking ball for strikes.
