Ben Daniel is a 2028 RHP/OF with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Auburn, AL who attends Auburn. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from a compact windup with a medium length arm action and 3/4's arm slot, simple and repeatable mechanics. Fastball topped out at 85 mph and worked down in the zone consistently with it with some late run and sink. Showed good feel for shaping a mid-70's slider, could sweep it at times and shorten it up at others. Change up was a solid pitch with good fade and arm speed into release. Solid three-pitch mix with command, has the elements if he can get stronger and add more velocity. 7.12 runner in the sixty, secondary outfielder on defense. Good student.
