Rylan Grayson is a 2030 SS/C/OF with a 5-5 115 lb. frame from Readyville, TN who attends 11th Street Alternative. Smaller young athletic build. 7.55 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense who worked out all over the field. Has soft hands in the infield and fields the ball cleanly, some foot quickness moving to the ball, throws exclusively from a long side arm slot, limited lower half involvement in his throws, best moving to his left where his arm slot plays better. Graded out best in the outfield, came to the ball aggressively with athletic footwork to and through the ball, quick release on his throws and made accurate throws. Also caught, sets up in a right knee down stance, has some athletic actions coming out of his crouch, longer arm action and made accurate bouncing throws. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with an exaggerated high hand load, big inward shift to start his swing, lots of length and moving parts to sync up, flashes some hand quickness but will have to simplify and shorten his approach as he gets stronger.
