Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, comes out of his crouch well and works through his throws, replaces his feet well, athletic overall actions, solid arm strength, works downhill and makes accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield with third base tools and actions, fielded the ball cleanly, showed good carry on his throws when on top and some ability to change his slot on the move. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a stride into contact, inside swing path with a level swing plane, works the middle of the field and has good barrel control, has the strength to create more juice in the future. Good student.
