Julian Arenas is a 2031 1B/RHP/IF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Centennial. Medium frame with well developed musculature and plenty of time to refine. Ran the 60 yard dash in 8.05 seconds. Primary position infielder, moving methodically through his angles and showing some feel around the bag. Works the glove off to the side with firmer action and works through a deeper funnel to transfer. Accurate feeds reaching 79 mph. Reps in the outfield as well, moving freely here and getting the glove out front appropriately. Can quicken release but transfers nicely at the midline and shows off excellent arm strength here with feeds up to 87 mph back to bags. Secondary RHP, featuring an outstanding 3-pitch mix accelerating through an over the top arm angle. Well developed delivery that he repeats at a high level, generating a fastball that peaked at 86 mph with excellent ride and consistently landing a 12/6 curve in the low-70s. Interesting potential on the bump. LHH working from a wider base with a higher handset and high back elbow, showing a simple operation here. Swings with intent and aggression, using a pull oriented approach and showing outstanding bat speed. Staying on the barrel with pull side power and more to come. High level skills across the board. Named to the 2026 13u Perfect Game Select Festival.
