Joey Hashman is a 2025 RHP/SS/OF with a 5-4 130 lb. frame from Kent, OH who attends Theodore Roosevelt. Slender young build with lots of growing ahead of him. Simple turn and throw delivery, never gets his hips or lower half closed to the plate, high arm circle with a 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was up to 68 mph, could add velocity immediately with lower half adjustments, gets some fastball running action low and throws his fastball for strikes, especially to left handed hitters. Gets some spin on a sweeping slider when he stays on top of that. Fielded his position well and showed game awareness. 7.51 runner in the sixty. Played both infield and outfield on defense when not on the mound, showed the same type of open hip throwing action, has active and quick feet at both positions and showed his athleticism. Right handed hitter, starts with a turned in front shoulder with a big stride into contact, stride and rotational front side tend to get him off balance, downhill swing plane with pull side contact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
