Ricardo Vega is a 2026 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Saint Just, PR who attends Escuela Especializada Central de Artes Visuales. Nice young athletic build with long arms and plenty of physical projection remaining. Works exclusively from the stretch, throws from a 3/4's slot with an easy delivery he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 83 mph with nice running life, can work the fastball to both halves and create bad swings. Curveball was a very good pitch with 1/7 shape and advanced feel, plenty of power and arm speed. Change up flashed very good with deception and killed spin. Dominant performance. Sum of all the parts type who can carve with all three pitches. Very good student. Named to the PG Puerto Rice National Qualifier Showcase Top Prospect List.
