Michael Olenik is a 2027 C/RHP/UT with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Klein Oak. Smaller athletic build. 7.09 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle, high and quick transfers, has quick feet and replaces them well throwing, game actions in drills, made accurate throws. Also worked out in the infield and showed his athleticism well, had some carry on his throws, fielded the ball cleanly with a quick release. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a shift into contact, longer swing with some lift out front, will need to make adjustments to shorten up and get the barrel into the zone on time. Excellent student.
