Christian Jacobo is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-6 124 lb. frame from Tracy, CA. Young, narrow shouldered frame, lean build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, charges ball well in the outfield with short and quick steps, shorter arm action with a higher release point, fields closer to body, tends to get uphill at times, will continue to refine lower half actions. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, leg lift up past belt with some gather on backside; compact arm action through the back, tight release, taller finish towards the plate. Worked exclusively off of the fastball, topped out at 60 mph, pitched to contact with some short sink. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a tall and narrow stance; limited shift through lower half moving into contact, hands start pulled back. Contact oriented approach, keeps hands inside the ball, sees it deep, can continue to generate extension out front at point of contact, utilizes a gliding leg lift trigger for timing.
