2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
William Pepper is a 2028 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Olathe, KS who attends Spring Hill. Lean and lanky medium build with lots of room to continue to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright and straight stance with a high hand load and short stride into contact, compact line drive swing with plenty of bat speed, loose hands that have strength in them, hits to all fields with some jump off the barrel, projectable hitting tools. 7.07 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, tends to wait back on the ball with limited momentum into his throws, has some arm strength with more there in the future, more third base actions at present. Took a turn on the mound, works from an abbreviated wind up with a high leg raise and short 3/4's arm action. Fastball topped out at 82 mph with heavy sinking life, hitters didn't see his fastball well and offered weak swings. Curveball had some 12/6 sharpness and vertical depth. Good student. Named to the PG High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
