Connor Thompson is a 2026 C/RHP/2B with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Virginia Beach, VA who attends Bishop Sullivan Catholic. Medium athletic build with good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow open stance with a big windup into his swing and a deep hand load, swings hard but tends to get off balance and off time from his load, flashes strength in his swing and ability to contact the ball when everything comes together. 7,76 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, tends to set up very high in his stance and will have to learn to get lower receiving the ball, developing arm strength on his throws. Also pitched, big side step delivery with lots of energy to the plate, compact arm action with a 3/4's arm slot, tends to recoil out front. Fastball worked in the mid-60's, mostly straight. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
