2021 California Workout Camp Session 2
Max Farrell is a 2025 C/MIF, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends San Marcos. He ran a 7.78 second sixty. A primary catcher with a young lean build. Behind the plate he gets into a square stance, he doe a nice job gaining ground into his throws receiving the ball with soft hands, he showed young arm strength on his accurate throws, his action project well moving forward as he continues to mature. On the infield he worked around the ball both in both directions with the glove working out front early, funnel the ball well to the mid line as he gains ground towards his target with the ability to make accurate throws from multiple arm angles. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and slightly open stance, he creates good separation with the load and trigger, he stays on the back side through out the swing working the ball the other way mostly, he will drive the ball better as he finds more consistent timing to the swing and continues to add strength. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 California Workout Camp Session 2 Top Prospect List.
