2024 14U Mid-Atlantic All-State Games (Invite Only)
Cole Tucholski is a 2028 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Quakertown, PA who attends Quakertown Community. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a long frame, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, soft footwork coming off of the bag and moving around dirt, shorter arm action on throws across to intended base, moves well laterally, present arm strength with accuracy, smooth and repeatable actions overall. Comes through the ball well in the outfield, deliberate tempo, works behind it nice and gets to a lower three-quarters release point, quick transfer, solid present arm strength. Also pitched, coiled leg lift at top of delivery, lands closed with strike foot, loose arm action through the back, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, pounded the zone with quickness to arm. Three pitches for strikes and tunneled all well, tough at-bat for all batters; killed spin on changeup well up to 73 mph, late fading life. Slider up to 66 mph, sweeping shape through the zone with lots of lateral life. Left-handed hitter, begins with an upright and even stance in the box, utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Quick barrel through the zone with looseness to hands, shows jump off of the barrel when on time to the pull side. Looks to lift at the point of contact, went deep to pull side in BP but can go the other way. Intriguing tools across the board. Named to the 14u Mid-Atlantic All-State Games Top Prospect List.
