Ryu McGee Burge is a 2024 2B/RHP/C with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Carson, CA who attends Junipero Serra. Smaller frame with a slightly physical build. Ran an 8.01 second 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, clean fundamental actions on the dirt, has some length to his movements but made the plays well, quick transfers to get it out and showed developing arm strength across. Also worked out behind the plate, slower transfers but gets it out well and showed some arm strength from the crouch. Righthanded hitter, slightly open setup and moves in even, longer swing on a level path, produced a good amount of line drive contact in his round and will get to more strength off the barrel as he engages the lower half and projects out.
