2025 PG National Showcase
Devin Long is a 2026 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Long and athletic build with tons of physical projection remaining. Works from a rocker step delivery with a long and whippy arm stroke from a high 3/4's arm slot, creates nice downhill angle to the plate. Fastball topped out at 94 mph with up to 21" of IVB, also cut his fastball at times, around the zone and has an idea of locating the pitch. Change up was a very good pitch with big running life, threw some easy plus change ups. Slider was a solid pitch with power and a short and tight break. Three-pitch starter profile with a chance to keep adding stuff as he matures. Good student with a verbal commitment to Mississippi.
