Anthony Ruggerello is a 2024 OF/1B with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Laguna Niguel, CA who attends Dana Hills. Features a tall, high waisted frame with long limbs and room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.14 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the ball with high energy and aggressiveness. Fielded it clean on the side of his body. Showed some carry with a developing arm. He also worked out at first base showcasing an above average glove. Uses a wide base at reception. He made accurate feeds to second base. Right-handed hitter, begins wide base and utilizes a slight leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Starts with a lower hand set, shows comfort working to the pull side, keeps hands inside the ball. Occasionally opens front side early, best contact/juice when getting extended out front with nice carry off of the barrel. Good student.
