Nicholas Fichera is a 2027 OF/RHP, 3B, SS, IF, UT with a 5-11 141 lb. frame from Katy, TX who attends Taylor. Medium current frame with some hop to his actions, wiry strength and a lot of time to refine physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.32 seconds. Primary position outfielder, showing solid fundamentals and feel for the position with angles to the ball. Quick feet getting to the ball and works through his plays. Game like release with throws up to 77 mph with nice one-hop accuracy. Reps on the infield as well with clean glove action and deeper midline gather. Throws up to 74 mph here. Secondary RHP, working quickly and filling up the zone. Simple repeatable delivery working down the mound with good angles and getting to consistent release. Fastball up to 72 mph that he moved around the zone and vertical breaker that he landed for strikes often. RHH working from an even start with a higher handset and some barrel wrap at the top pre-pitch. Steeper attack angle with small leg lift to get things going. Showed emerging power with balls in the air pull side, when on plane showed consistent feel for the barrel. Intriguing two-way skillset here. Outstanding student as well.
