Bobby Welker is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Winter Park, FL who attends Winter Park. Tall lean athletic frame with all sorts of room and space to add physicality in the coming months, ran the 60 yard dash in 7.56 seconds, primary position RHP working from the hybrid windup and belt his leg lift to load over the rubber, shorter inline stride and shorter inline arm path before accelerating through an over the top arm angle, efficient strike thrower, fastball up to 84 mph with good spin traits, curveball with bigger vertical shape and solid spin, attacks hitters and held velocity deep into his outing, secondary infielder working deliberately through his reps, solid mechanics and making all the plays, showed his athleticism throughout and ripped feeds across the diamond up to 87 mph, RHH working from a medium base and good handset with a ton of leverage to offer, gets the ball in the air with ease, top spin at times but when he let the ball travel saw his best bolts into the oppo gap, interesting follow and is a very good student as well.
