DJ Douglas is a 2025 OF with a 5-7 142 lb. frame from Rock Hill, SC who attends Legion Collegiate Academy. Young lean athletic overall frame with a lot of time to add physicality. Primary position OF, with nice hop in his step and working aggressively to the ball in his routes. Glove works out front into deliberate midline transfer as he squares to throw. Lower arm angle with arm strength that showed throws up to 80 mph back to the infield. RHH starting from a narrow and slightly open stance and tilted barrel to load the hands. Rotational operation, gets the foot down early and uses sweeping path to contact on plane. Ran out of barrel here and there with early action but when on time and in the middle of the field the ball jumped. Very good student as well.
