Cade Allen is a 2026 RHP/1B with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from Humboldt, TN who attends South Gibson. A physical and strong frame, with an athletic build and some projection that remains. Took to the mound with with a wind-up delivery, working with a sidestep into the delivery, showing some coil to it. The leg lift works around the core/stomach. He moves well down the slope and comes through a higher three-quarters slot and release, with a longer arm action and some whip working through it. The fastball worked 90-92 mph consistently, and he showed good jump out of the hand. He flashed a curveball working with 11-5 shape and depth, in the 79-83 mph range. It's got a knuckle curve grip with hard-biting depth to it. He also flashed a splitter working 82-84 mph with spin down into the 1000s. The pitch had splitter traits with good depth to it. He produced two quick innings, filling the zone, and missing barrels for a really good outing on the mound. Tons to project on with this profile and stuff. Excellent student. Allen is committed to Tennessee.
