Ismael Gonzalez is a 2029 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-2 145 lb. frame from Liberty Hill, TX who attends Legacy Ranch. Long and lean young build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in an upright stance with a short hands driven upper body swing, gets to his front side early, gap to gap approach, showed some barrel control, bat speed will continue to improve with additional strength and physical maturity. 7.79 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, tends to wait back on the ball and field it deep, longer exchange and release, developing arm strength. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a fastball that topped out at 69 mph with some cutting action that got off barrels. Also mixed in an 11/5 curveball with some shape and spin that was his best pitch along with a developing change up. Very good student.
