Dreson Ethier is a 2027 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-1 168 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Lean and projectable athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 6.83 sixty-yard dash time. Primary infielder with good lateral range, a clean funnel and plenty of athleticism in his actions. Produced online, accurate throws up to 81 mp across the diamond. Right-handed pitcher that showed plenty to like on the mound during game action. Ran the fastball up to 88 mph, maintained the mid-80s throughout and showed life through the zone. Flashed a still developing breaking ball with varied spin profile and slightly faded changeup as his go-to secondary offerings. Plenty left in the tank as he continues to develop. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider base with a tight, wrapped hand set and short knee-lift trigger. Showed plenty of present bat speed, a whole field approach with budding impact potential and power. Loose, easy hands with whip to the barrel that will continue to produce more impact as he physically matures. Son of former MLB player Andre Ethier. Verbal commitment to Miami.
