Vaughan McIntyre is a 2025 C/OF/UT with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Blanchard, OK who attends Blanchard. Athletic build. Worked out from the outfield and was up to 80. Has a quick arm with quick feet. Gets the glove down on time and fields it leanly to his side. Works through the ball a good bit and charges with some intent. Showed good strength and accuracy behind his throws. Also played infield fielding it deep on the body. Can change slot well and works around the ball well. Primary catcher who receives it well. Gains some ground through the plate and made throws with accuracy. Looks athletic behind the dish with soft hands. Quick transfer and release with shorter arm action. Also ran a 7.61 sixty. Left-handed hitter starting open and upright in the stance. Uses a slight leg lift and rock back for timing and rhythm. Swings with good rhythm in the box and works the gaps well, especially to pull. Takes a smooth path with the bat and has that quintessential smooth lefty swing. Was on the barrel a lot during his round of bp. Showed good feel to leverage and launch rotating hard while controlling the levers well. Excellent student. Also named to the Top Prospect List.
