Hayden Willoughby is a 2027 OF/C/1B with a 6-1 210 lb. frame from Williamston, NC who attends D H Conley. Strong profile with a medium frame. Ran the sixty in 7.09 seconds. A primary outfielder, works around the baseball while approaching. Throws works with carry and fields the baseball off the front foot. Clean transfers into a shorter arm action with a high 3/4 slot. Uses the long hop often on throws, keeping the throws low and on a line. Recorded an outfield velocity of 85 mph. Also worked out behind the plate, working with a one knee down offset stance. Utilizes a cheat move as the pitch is thrown and replaces the feet quickly. Clean transfers at the chest level and works downhill on throws. Had good carry on throws, working up to 81 mph behind the plate with a 1.93 pop-time. A right handed hitter, used an upright initial stance with high hands and a high back elbow. Short and compact to impact, showed good strength to all fields during BP. Works mainly to the middle of the field with good feel for the barrel. Verbal commitment to North Carolina A&T.
