Dawson Keim is a 2026 RHP/1B/3B with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Lean built primary pitcher with smooth mechanics down the plane. Smooth fluid arm stroke with release out of a three-quarters slot. The fastball shows slight running sink when executed down in the zone. Fastball heavy early in counts. Overloaded the strike zone and forced a bunch of weak contact. Changeup shows some fading action but wasnt executed with consistency. In the infield, takes a quick efficient first step, beat the ball to the spot but tended to get stabby with the glove at times. Arm was average for the age, arm action could use some cleaning up. At the plate, he sets up with narow base and slightly open stance. Bat path is pretty direct but not the most loose swinger. Handles the barrel well at times but looks more pitcher-ish. 7.14 60-yard.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
