Bryce Smith is a 2025 LHP/OF with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Timberlake, NC who attends Voyager Academy. Tall athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a full wind up from the first base side, high leg raise, made in-game adjustments to his mechanics and showed aptitude, best when picking up his target early. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, more velocity there with additional strength and physical maturity, gets outstanding late movement on his fastball, elite level life that over matches hitters. Slider was a very good pitch, tight spin and late break and tilt. Two swing and miss pitches in his fastball and slider. Change up still developing but has promise. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a high leg raise load, smooth swing with good hand action, line drive swing plane, showed strength off the barrel and some bat speed. 7.31 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the outfield when not on the mound. Has a real chance on the mound with his ability to generate hard movement if he can continue to add velocity. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Atlantic Coast Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
