Cason Gantt is a 2027 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Canton, GA who attends Sequoyah. Recorded a 7.52 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman with present strength. Glove plays around the bag and showed big arm strength. Also worked out from the infield and moves around well. Clean backhand and same strong arm across the diamond. Left-handed hitter and starts from a wide base. Has quick hands and big strength out front. Can really impact the ball and struck balls hard to the pull side. Swings with a lot of intent and recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher and begins delivery with a leg lift to waist level. Medium length, clean, and on line arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Ran the fastball up to 80 mph and comes out easy. Mixed in a big curveball that was landed while repeating the delivery well. Great student. Named to the 2024 14U Georgia All-State Games Top Prospect List.
