Roscoe McBurney is a 2029 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends North Atlanta. Big and strong young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Ran a 7.57 60-yard dash. Works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg raise and a full arm path in back, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some carry through the zone. Change up was a good pitch with good arm speed and some running depth. Also threw a soft slider that can be further developed. Projectable overall tools on the mound. Right handed hitter, even base, hand pump load, high hands and a high back elbow, loses some posture at times, rotational swing, has strength in the hands. Outfield, works through it fine, lower release, around the bag and accurate, corner mover. Infield, corner look, deliberate footwork and actions, long arm swing to release. Good size to project on moving forward.
