John Miedreich is a 2026 SS/2B with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Greer, SC who attends Mountain View Prep. Compact athletic build with some present strength. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has nice foot quickness and moves well, adjusts his arm slot well on the move, solid present arm strength. Switch-hitter at the plate, has the same approach from both sides, sets up in a wide base with a wrapped barrel start, uphill swing, swings hard and is looking to lift and drive the ball from both sides, timing and consistency was better this look from the left side. Good athlete who should continue to improve in all areas. Outstanding student.
