Logan Olson is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Farmington, MN who attends Academy Of Holy Angels. Tall and lanky frame with plenty of room to fill and physical projection remaining. Primary left-handed pitcher with a long and loose arm action, comes from an over the top slot. Closes himself off a bit on the foot strike, fairly low effort operation, showed good control of each pitch. Fastball flashed arm side run, throws a sweeping curveball with 1-7 shape and good sinking action. Was not afraid to throw the curveball and could land it in any count. The changeup had limited break but was a nice change of pace to keep hitters off balance, both off speed pitches were tunneled well. Arm speed will improve as he gets stronger, the body projects for more velocity down the road. Excellent student. Oregon commit.
