Max Moncur is a 2029 2B/RHP/UT with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Tomball Memorial. Long and lanky athletic build with the beginnings of some present strength and more to come. 7.54 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense with developing lateral speed and body control. Clean glove working towards the forehand with solid exchanges from field to throw. Present arm speed with carry across that projects to add in the future. Secondary outfielder taking in line, direct paths to the baseball, circling it clean and fielding out front. Quick out of the glove into an over the top arm slot with a longer arm stroke that stays accurate on a hop. Right handed hitter with a medium base that's upright, even feet, high hands and high back elbow at set. Toe-tap-trigger timing mechanism to start the swing that stays on a level path with a line drive, middle of the field approach. The swing projects additional impact with added strength. Outstanding student.
