2023 13U/14U Atlantic Coast Showcase
Will Ford is a 2028 C/RHP/1B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Wake Forest, NC. Young 5-foot 7 build with room for more in the future as a young '28. Primary catcher, side saddle setup with developing feel for the transfer with on-line throws. Right-handed pitcher, full wind-up from the third base side of the rubber with a belt high leg lift, moved the fastball that touched 65-mph all over the zone while mixing in a mid 50s rolling curveball. Took reps at first base, clean fundamental action at first base with some feel for the leather using a two hand gather out front. Throws were accurate and looked comfortable moving laterally to field the position. RHH, even stance with a bigger hand move during the load, shifts in some before impacting it out front. Overall package projects better with added height and strength that will naturally come with time for the young prospect.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
